This will be my first-year teaching, I have an associate's degree in secondary education, and I have been coaching High School basketball for seven years. In my spare time I enjoy playing golf. 

My teaching philosophy on the use of technology is quite progressive. I believe that technology can assist students of all levels, and in many ways. Assistive research, engaging conversation channels, and access to resources at the click of a button are just a few ways that technology can assist us in the classroom. Of course, this comes with technology responsibility, which I highly emphasize. Students must always properly cite works and provide their own thoughts, based on the tools they use. 

My favorite education website would be IXL | Learn U.S. history. This website is for all grade levels with many social studies topics.
